About Artifier

Artifier is a Toronto-based art blog and creative studio started by Carla Rojas in 2019.

Originally conceived as an event directory for the visual arts, Artifier has now evolved into a blog on a mission to help make art more accessible, covering visits to art shows and art fairs, featuring conversations with artists and creatives, and exploring the intersection of art in the day to day life. Always through a lens of playfulness and curiosity.

In the spring of 2020, in the early days of lockdown, we started a video-podcast series called “Remote Art Talks”, which was featured by CBC Arts as one of the best art talks in Canada. We did this in partnership with Partial and Culture Fancier.

Events we have covered:

– Toronto Biennial of Art
– ArtTO
– Artist Project
– ArtBus Tours

Our creative studio section will open in 2022.

Thank you for stopping by. We hope you enjoy using the site.
